Dr. Miranda Wong is a graduate of University of Detroit Mercy (Doctor of Dental Surgeons D.D.S.) in Michigan. She then completed a two year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA, where she had extensive training in surgeries and hospital dentistry. She had associated in various clinics before she established her own private practice in Markham, Toronto. Dr. Wong has a passion in doing cosmetic dentistry but she also enjoys working on children.

Dr. Patsy Kwok is a graduate of University of Toronto. She has completed a general practice residency at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto.

 

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

 

Dr. Steven Leung was born in Toronto and subsequently moved to the United States after completing his high school education at Upper Canada College.  Completing only 2 years of undergraduate studies, he was accepted into Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine.  After achieving his first doctoral degree (DDS), Dr. S. Leung underwent a rigorous surgical internship at the University of Pennsylvania and then pursued his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Case Western Reserve University while also obtaining his degree in medicine (MD).  

 

Dr. S. Leung's area of interest include extracting wisdom teeth, placing dental implants, bone grafting, and jaw (orthognathic) surgery.  He enjoys being able to provide IV and deep sedation for anxious patients requiring oral surgery procedures.  In his free time, Dr. S. Leung is an avid golfer and likes to play indoor and beach volleyball.  He also loves to travel abroad whenever given the opportunity to help those who have limited access to dental heathcare.

Dr. Cheng-Jin Tsai is a graduate of Tufts University, Massachusettes in United States. He earned his specialty degree in Paediatric Dentistry (specializing in treating children) in 1987.

Dr. Bacchus completed his degree in Dentistry (D.D.S.) at the State University of New York's dental school, Buffalo in 1997. He had graduated with Magna Sum Laude and was admitted to the Lambda Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the Dental Honor Society).

 

Dr. Bacchus then went on to complete his graduate orthodontic training at the University of Detroit Mercy (Certified Orthodontic Specialist, 1999) and completed a Masters of Science degree (Surgical Orthodontist, 1999), which was then published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Also, during his graduate training, he worked with facial anomalies, including cleft lip and palate.

 

Dr. Bacchus continues to increase his knowledge within orthodontics and dentistry by pursuing continuing education as well as through membership in various dental associations.

Claudia is a graduate of Regency Dental Hygiene Academy in Toronto, Ontario. She is an active member of the College of Dental Hygiene of Ontario, and also certified by the U.S. Joint Commision of National Dental Hygiene Examination. She had also participated at the Oral Health Promotion at the Bayview/Sheppard Y.M.C.A.

Jacqueline graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. Her interest in the dental field influenced her to further her education at George Brown College where she graduatedwith a dental hygiene diploma with honours. In her spare time, she enjoys staying active by playing softball, volleyball, and going snowboarding.
